I've never done a nail post before! If you're on my Facebook page you will have seen that this week I have been experimenting with fun nail designs, very much unsuccessfully.

I've been seeing a lot of people uploading pictures of the Ciaté nails so I decided that I should try them. I decided to go with the Black Pearl set as black nails are so me!

When I got the set I was worried that I would mess up the application and end up with dodgy looking nails, similar to my other attempts this week. I read the instructions and it looked easy enough! All you have to do is do apply two coats of nail varnish and then while still wet, pour the caviar pearls over the wet nail (one at a time) over the tray provided in the packaging. Then lightly press the nail to flattern and compact the pearls, give the nail a slight shake to remove any loose ones and leave to dry for 25 mins! They also provide a mini funnel so that you can pour all the loose pearls back into the bottle.

It is actually as simple as it sounds! I successfully applied them and think they look great! What do you think?

Ciaté sells three different set on their website; Black Pearl, White Pearl and Rainbow. Selfridges also stock the Red, White and Blue set. The sets retail at £18.00.

Let me know if you have any nail painting tips for me to try! I see so many great designs but am useless at creating any of them!
