Beauty Shed Treatment Room and Cafe |
For many years my BFF and I have been looking for Brighton’s best kept secrets – these are amazing places hidden in Brighton, places that as locals we have yet to discover and are pleasantly surprised when we do. These have included small little cafes in random streets and a set of stairs with a breathtaking view of Brighton. I have now been introduced to the Beauty Shed – hidden in the depths of Hove by the bus depot on Conway Street.
Used as a phisiotherapy/ fitness room, the space also has a lovely Beauty area upstairs. There is a private treatment room and a nail bar area for manicures and pedicures. The beauty area is decorated in lovely natural tones, soft lighting and has baskets of Lavender (I LOVE Lavender). Their treatments include Manicures, Pedicures, Spray Tans and Faciala, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays the treatments are only £10! They have recently opened up a brow bar too – which includes threading (my fav!). When I went I had my eyebrows done and was very pleased with the results!
As well as a truly lovely spa, the Beauty shed also has a little cafe, where they sell a small range ofhome-ware including Bento lunch boxes. The cafe sells lovely homemade healthy snacks. I had theChilli (a winter fav of mine!) and it was delicious – which I find rare as I like mine to have a bit of a kick to it. They also had yummy looking Caramel slices and Brownies, but I was being good – although I was very tempted! I’d also like to say that the staff at the Beauty Shed are genuinely lovely, friendly and caring.
