LIFESTYLE | Designer Outlets in London

When I was younger I was very anti-designer, well I guess it was more that I resented being judged by the brands I wore. I wasn’t exactly the richest person in my private school, and I decided at a young age that I wasn’t going to get upset because I didn’t have one of those Tiffany & Co toggle necklaces, or a Tag watch etc.

But unfortunately for Hubs and I, as we’ve grown older our tastes have become quite expensive (actually Hubs, has always had expensive taste and also prefers to buy two of his favourite items). I think living in Portsmouth and having access to Gunwharf Quays had a lot to do with my love for outlets and designer brands at affordable prices. Luckily, there are a growing number of designer outlets throughout the UK, including the London Designer Outlet in Wembley, which has over 70 outlets, restaurants and cafes, as well as a nine screen cinema.

As far as designer clothing UK is concerned, the outlet is filled with leading high street names (H&M, Gap and Phase Eight), aspirational labels (Guess) and lifestyle brands (Crabtree & Evelyn) with up to 70% off of the recommended retail price. The London Designer Outlet also holds loads of interesting events, such as Festivals, Competitions and Running Clubs!

I guess Hubs, and I are going to have to take a visit next time we are up in London. I mean who doesn’t love a good bargain?
