The truth is that your wedding day is going to be a lot more exciting for you than for anyone else. But it can still be an exciting event for everyone who’s attending, especially if you make an effort to take care of your guests. Even though it’s your special day, you want everyone attending to have a good time. You have asked them to share the day with you, so show them that it’s appreciated. But how can you make sure that your guests are excited about your wedding, and not just looking forward to the food?

Send Amazing Invites to your Wedding Guests

Kick things off by sending fun invitations to your guests. By sending invitations that your guests love, you can show that you’re paying attention to every detail. Start by making your invites more personal, both in style and information. Jazz them up by choosing rose gold foil invitations for a little extra shine. Make sure to include anything that your guests will want to know, from what the venue is like to the cocktails.

Keep Everyone Updated

Keeping everyone up to date with the latest information as your wedding approaches is a good way to ensure they remain interested and get excited. A wedding newsletter or a website could be a good way to provide everyone with information about the big day. Rather than being too focused on you as a couple, you should be telling people about what they have to look forward to. What food and drink will be on offer, what will be available to entertain them, what’s your signature cocktail? They probably don’t care too much about the colour scheme or which flowers you’ve chosen.

Let Them Have Their Say

Letting your guests have some say in your wedding can be exciting for them. You don’t have to crowdsource your wedding planning, but you can allow your guests to have some input. A lot of people ask their guests to suggest a song for their wedding playlist or for the DJ to play. You could also ask for cocktail suggestions or even just ask them what would improve the wedding for them. Of course, you don’t have to take all of their suggestions into account if you don’t want to.

Make Things Easier for Them

Weddings can be a lot of fun, but they can also be a bit of a hassle. You need to get dressed up, you need to be available on the day, and you have to arrange transport and possibly accommodation too. Taking steps to make things easier for your guests can make them more likely to attend and enjoy themselves. Consider things like hiring a babysitter or kids’ entertainer for the day or getting a discount on accommodation.

If you want your guests to be excited about your wedding day, make sure they know that they’re going to be well looked after.
